Muster music box, playing 15.5-inch Stella discs, ca 1900, fabulous mahogany case with carved rope and ripple molding detail around the base and top, case measures 26.5 inches from widest point x 21 inches deep x 12 inches tall, total weight approximately 58 pounds, truly a lovely piece for the collector of music boxes or someone who wants to display it instead of using it as it's quite an impressive object to behold. Mechanism not running, musical comb has all teeth intact, recommend a fresh overhaul and cleaning to bring this back to operational condition, mirror on interior lid with ample foxing throughout, case shows little wear with several light scrapes and dings, missing crank.
